Preservation Dayton Presents: An Architecture Tour of Dayton View

Join Preservation Dayton for a guided tour through Dayton View, one of the city’s most architecturally significant neighborhoods.

Dayton View Historic District Walking Tour

Explore the rich history and stunning architecture of Dayton View Historic District on this guided walking tour led by a knowledgeable neighborhood resident and tour guide. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories and insights about the area’s unique homes and the people who have shaped this vibrant community.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes—this tour covers just under two miles and will last
approximately 90 to 120 minutes. Sidewalks may be uneven in areas, so please use caution.

At the conclusion of the tour, guests will have the special opportunity to step inside a beautifully restored and thoughtfully renovated historic Dayton View home.

Join us to experience the character, charm, and architectural beauty that make Dayton View such a remarkable neighborhood!
If the order box doesn't appear in your browser, click here to be re-directed to the Eventbrite site to complete your order.

If you aren't able to attend the Guided Dayton View Tour, you can do a Self-Guided tour of one of Dayton's Historic Neighborhoods!

These walking tours will highlight a few of the architectural and historical features of each area.

T
hese walking tours are intended to provide a leisurely walk through Dayton's historic neighborhoods, allowing ample time to pause and appreciate the architecture, the streetscape, and the amenities of the area. We ask that you walk carefully, as streets and sidewalks can be uneven, and it’s important to observe the terrain while you appreciate the historical and architectural features of the area.
