PReservation Dayton's Excellence in Preservation Awards

Join Preservation Dayton Inc. in celebrating outstanding local preservationists and recognizing their remarkable achievements.

The Excellence in Preservation Awards, presented by Preservation Dayton Inc., return on Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 PM!

In celebration of National Preservation Month this May, we’re proud to honor the dedicated individuals and organizations whose efforts continue to preserve and strengthen our local heritage.

Join us at the beautifully renovated Dayton Arcade as we recognize and celebrate the 2026 award winners. You’ll also get a look at what Preservation Dayton has planned for the year ahead.

This is a free event, with refreshments provided and limited seating available.

Location & Parking:
Guests may enter through The Hub at 31 S. Main St., or take advantage of valet service (for a fee) at the Hilton Garden Inn Dayton Downtown entrance at 18 W. Third St. Ample street parking is available downtown (free on Sundays), and the Reibold Building Parking Garage offers convenient access nearby.

We will also be announcing our updated “Top 10 Most Endangered Properties” list.

We hope to see you there!

A special thank you to Custom Frame Services for their generous support of Preservation Dayton. Their craftsmanship and partnership helped make this year’s awards truly special.
